SANBlaze Upgrades Target Emulation System to 4G Fibre Channel and SAS
Maynard, MA, July 1, 2005 -- SANBlaze Technology, Inc., today unveiled the latest version of the VirtuaLUN target emulation system, supporting Fibre Channel speeds up to 4 Gbit, as well as SAS target emulation. Customers can now declare their independence from costly, bulky large disk arrays and various other tools, addressing many of their SAN test and development requirements with one flexible, powerful tool.
Advanced features such as error injection, scripting and configurable drive parameters provide SAN product developers, Test and QA engineers with a configurable tool that can simulate thousands of boundary, exception and stability conditions. Configurable target and drive density allows for testing of hundreds of targets and up to 2000 drives in a single chassis. Performance upgrades insure that 4 ports of 4 G Fibre channel can be tested at full speed in real time.
The VirtuaLUN is available with two or four Fibre Channel Ports running at 1, 2 or 4Gbps. The SAS version is available with 8 or 16 ports, running at 1.5 or 3 Gbps.
