SANBlaze Technology adds three new products to AMC Storage family

Maynard, MA, October 16, 2006 -- SANBlaze Technology, Inc., a leading provider of storage solutions for the embedded computing market, today announced three new Advanced Mezzanine (AMC) based storage products. The SANBlaze AMC product family now offers storage modules and adapters that provide storage options for AdvancedTCA and MicroTCA based platforms.

The SB-AMC-CHD module is an AMC SATA hard drive module in the AMC Compact Height form factor. This module provides hard drive capacities up to 200G in a form factor that is half the size of prior offerings, providing the highest density storage options available for uTCA and ATCA designs.

The SB-AMC-SSD module provides Solid State media in an AMC form factor, allowing system designers to take advantage of the increased performance and extended environmental ranges that solid state storage offers. The module provides a SATA interface, with storage capacities ranging from 4 to 64GB.

The SB-AMC-SAS controller is an 8 Port SAS controller that allows connectivity to SAS devices via the front panel for out of chassis connectivity, as well as via the AMC backplane for in chassis storage options. The board incorporates a x8 PCIExpress backplane connection insuring high performance backplane connectivity.

The SANBlaze SB-AMC-HD modules support all major operating systems. All boards are readily available.
