SANBlaze SB-ATCA7300 Intel based ATCA Server Blade Achieves VMware Ready Status
Littleton, MA, March 22, 2012 – SANBlaze Technology, Inc., a leading provider of embedded storage and computing solutions, today announced that its Intel® Architecture AdvancedTCA (ATCA) server blade SB-ATCA7300 has achieved VMware Ready™ status. The SB-ATCA7300 offers scalable, high-performance computing power for tasks that store, process and forward large amounts of data. This designation indicates that SANBlaze and the ATCA7300 has passed a detailed evaluation and testing process managed by VMware and is now listed on the VMware Compatibility Guide.
The SB-ATCA7300 features two 6-core Intel® Xeon® processors, and up to 96GB of DDR3 memory to deliver true 64-bit SMP computing for faster application execution in VMware environments. Its PICMG® 3.1 compliance provides redundant 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10Gbps) connections that are ideal for pipelined packet processing. Multiple on board boot options are available.
