A rear transition module (RTM) that uses PCI Express® (PCIe) to access multi terabyte (TB) solid-state storage capacity. The modules innovative construction accommodates up to 8 1.8” SSD, with a factory configured choice of MLC, eMLC or SLC flash technology. The SB-RTM468 boasts high performance with low latency and low CPU burden. The RTM delivers up to 125,000 4K read I/Os per second (IOPS) and up to 100,000 4K write IOPs. It achieves bandwidth of 910MB/s sustained reads and 530 MB/s sustained write performance.
