SANBlaze now offers a specific OCP test suite as its latest addition to the very popular Certified by SANBlaze automated test infrastructure. The Test Suite now provides users with an easy-to-use test environment, with the capability to ensure your SSD target devices comply with the OCP test plan requirements for 1.0a and 2.0, respectively.
Certified by SANBlaze validation testing scripts can be used as proof of meeting the required OCP benchmark test requirements. The OCP test paradigm is in place to have an open standard for SSD storage devices in support of their respective infrastructure.
By providing OCP test scripts as part of Certified by SANBlaze, SANBlaze continues to be the desired test platform of choice for SSD target devices. Our “point and click” automated test environment allows users to perform “real engineering work” that meets industry requirements without the need to build their own internal test tools, while reducing overhead costs and meeting “time to market” schedules, which are vital to SSD manufacturers in today’s market.
The OCP Test Suite scripts are created using SANBlaze’s Python framework. Currently the OCP 1.0a test plan is nearing completion, with dozens of scripts already available in support of 2.0. Script development for both OCP 1.0a and 2.0 will continue with targeted releases as the work is completed and will be available in corresponding SANBlaze software builds. SANBlaze is committed to continuing its development work around OCP well into the future, with plans already in place to support the OCP 2.5 specification.
